The President of Mustansiriyah University, Professor Safaa Al-Issawi, conducted a field inspection tour of the Colleges of Education and Administration and Economics. The tour aimed to monitor the implementation of the approved development and strategic plans within the university's vision to advance academic, administrative, and service offerings.

During the tour, Al-Issawi reviewed the progress of several vital projects and facilities within the two colleges, emphasizing the university presidency's commitment to creating a suitable university environment that meets academic quality requirements and enhances the university's role in serving the community.

The tour included monitoring maintenance and rehabilitation work, infrastructure development, and assessing the needs of academic and administrative departments. He also listened to comments from administrative staff regarding the most prominent challenges facing the workflow.

The President of the University indicated that these field visits are part of the policy of direct monitoring and continuous evaluation of the level of achievement, in line with the established strategic objectives. He emphasized the importance of integration among all university components to achieve a stimulating and integrated educational environment.

The President of Mustansiriyah University, Professor Dr. Safaa Taqi Al-Issawi, participated in the conference launching the Central Admissions Guide for the academic year 2025-2026. The conference was held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and was attended by presidents of public and private universities, undersecretaries of the Ministry, and a number of academic stakeholders.

The conference witnessed the launch of the updated version of the Central Admissions Guide, which included new details about application mechanisms, newly introduced specializations, and admission plans. It announced the creation of (222) new university formations in various Iraqi universities, including the College of Nursing at Mustansiriyah University, as part of the Ministry's efforts to expand admission capacity and meet labor market needs in vital fields.

 In a statement on the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Al-Issawi emphasized that the establishment of the College of Nursing at Mustansiriyah University represents a qualitative addition to the university's academic system and comes in response to the health sector's need for qualified nursing staff. He noted that the university is working to provide all the scientific and human resources necessary for the launch of this college, in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.

This conference falls within the framework of the Ministry's general policy to develop the university environment and achieve a balance between higher education outcomes and the requirements of sustainable development

ALMustansiriyah university council held its 7th session on Monday 11/1/2021 in the college of Management and economics. The session was headed by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Hamid Fadhil ALTamimi  and attended by all council's members  and discussed preparations for postgraduate studies examinations. During the session ,Al-Tamimi stressed the necessity to provide the full requirements for receiving the health teams, after cooperation with the Ministry of Health to ensure the health safety of students and teachers. The president of the university  praised  all the administrative efforts that have been made to complete the promotion and bonuses files for all university lecturers and employees, he also praised  the efforts made by the Central Promotion Committee to complete the promotion files  for lecturers  in accordance with the regulations and instructions. Al-Tamimi urged lecturers in  the university's colleges and centers to publish their researches in the accredited  international journals, in order that  the university occupies advanced ranks  within the internationally authenticated  classifications.
